Q. What faults can you repair?
We can repair almost any fault, and offer a 'no-repair, no-charge' service where we will quote your repair first before any work is carried out.
Q. How do i get my console, computer or phone repaired?
Simply leave into any branch of The Basement in Belfast, Carrickfergus or Larne. This is not a 'while-u-wait' service so we will take your details and contact you once your item is checked by our repair agent.
Q. How long does it take?
It can vary from a 3-4 days to 2-3 weeks, depending if unusual parts need to be ordered, and for extensive testing after some console repairs to guarantee the quality of the repair provided.
Q. Can you unlock a mobile phone to use on any network?
Yes, we offer this service (24-48 hour turnaround) via any of our stores. Please note that we cannot unblock network blocked handsets which have been reported lost or stolen.
Q. How do i get my disc repaired?
All of our stores have a 'while-u-wait' service for disc repair. Please visit our dedicated site skippydiscs.com for further details.
Q. Are all repairs guaranteed?
We guarantee all console repairs for 3 months against the same fault, provided there is no other physical damage to the machine. Computers and phone repairs are also guaranteed for 3 months, but only for physical parts replaced or repaired. Data integrity, software, firmware, or any other non-physical repair or upgrading does not carry any formal guarantee.
