DISC REPAIR SERVICE
What kind of discs can you repair?
Any - DVDs, Music CDs, Computer or console game discs.
How much does it cost?
The standard price is £3.49 per disc but if we offer discounted rates for quantities of discs as follows;
1-2 discs = £3.49 per disc
3-5 discs = £2.99 per disc
5-10 discs = £2.49 per disc
11+ discs = £1.99 per disc
Why should i bother?
Why pay as much as £40 for a game only for it to get accidentally scratched and end up in the bin because it no longer plays. £3.49 will restore the disc to perfect playing condition.
How long does it take?
If leaving discs into our Larne or Belfast store, please allow a turnaround time of 5 days. Often we'll have the disc repaired before then. Leave your telephone number when you leave the disc in and we'll call you as soon as it's ready for collection.
If however you take discs to our Carrickfergus store, the service is 'while you wait', as our machinery is centralised in that particular store.
My disc is very badly scratched. Do you think it can be repaired?
Unless the disc is cracked or has been scratched through to the label side then it can be repaired. In a recent test, we used a key to carve deep scores on a disc, only for it to come out like new. You will be truly amazed at the results.
I can't get to a store. Can i still get some discs repaired?
Yes, you can post the discs to us at our Carrickfergus store. We'll repair them and post back to you at no extra charge. The address to post to is;
Please include a list of discs included in the package, and a cheque for the appropriate total (see prices above). We recommend sending your discs by recorded delivery as we cannot be responsible if your discs do not reach us. When returning your discs, we will use recorded delivery.
